Our Brick slips for garden walls, who would have thought it. It may have been because the sun was shining and the weather was fantastic.
Great crowds of home builders and enthusiasts flocked into the Grand Designs Live London exhibition today.
A very busy Day 2
Day 2 had an amazing buzz throughout the hall, a really positive atmosphere with the exhibitors and show goers. This exhibition has a superb collection of companies and individuals that makes it a must for any budding grand designer.
With over 500 different companies exhibiting the show really does have a great deal to offer across the board.
The layout of this years show is a tried and tested model and focuses on core main areas of a grand design. The great thing about our products is they appeal to such a wide selection of uses.
Brick Slips for Garden walls?
Our brick cladding can be used internally on brick feature walls, a popular feature being the brick fireplace. The products we offer also appeal for exterior use, exterior cladding and grand exterior design concepts.
A stand out use from day 2 has been for use in the garden. Sunday must have been gardeners day as we had numerous landscape artists and design specialists inquiring about using our brick slips for garden walls.
A great conversation was had with one customer who was interested in re-creating old industrial ruins within his west London garden.
Although not a normal use this is something that would be easily achievable all be it with some imagination.
Along with ruins, man caves and garden gin shacks and off course brick slips for garden walls. Our products have a wide range of uses due to their durability and appearance.
Meet the Grand Designers
A highlight for our team today was getting to hear Penny Talelli and Mark Edwards discuss their grand build which featured last year on the show.
Penny works as consultant Neurologist at the Homerton Hospital, North East London. With husband Mark they undertook a 3.5 year project of turning an old gatehouse in North London into a family home combing old and new.
Although the project did not use any of our products it was amazing to listen to their first hand account of how the project unfolded.
All round a great discussion that the audience really enjoyed.
Summary
From discussing gardens to reading plans for a £12 million pound restoration project the team really did have a great day today at the Grand Designs Live.
