Are your brick slips fake?

Nope… We are the UK’s Leading manufacturer of real clay brick slips.

All of our standard brick slips are expertly cut from real authentic handmade bricks and reclaimed bricks.

Our bricks are sourced on their exceptional quality and suitability for cutting.

I want to order lots of boxes, can you send them in crates instead?

Yes we can! Whilst our half meter boxes of brick slips offer the most convenient way to manhandle the product. We appreciate that large quantities can be more convenient crated.

Are brick slips cut from reclaimed bricks ok to use?

We make sure that every reclaimed brick that we source is of sound quality and capable of withstanding the harsh process of cutting.

As with any reclaimed product there will be size differences and aesthetical anomalies. These are all the qualities which make this particular brick type such a sought after product.

All of our brick slips are suitable for either internal or external wall cladding.

How many brick slips do I need per square meter?

This may seem like a silly question but numbers can be confusing to the best of us. Most of our brick slips are sold per half square meter. There are 30 brick slips to a half square meter and 60 brick slips to a full square meter.

For every square meter of wall coverage you will require two boxes of brick slips.

There are other tools which I need for my installation which are not on your site can I still order these from you?

We try to offer our customers clarity by keeping the range of accessories we offer to a minimum. All the essentials which you would need to install your brick slips are offered on the website.

There are occasions where our customers require different or more specialised tools.

If you require something which is not listed under the accessories page then please give us a call as it may be something we can assist you with.

I have some unused pointing mortar left over can i store it?

Our pointing mortar does have a shelf life and this will be clearly labeled on the bag.

If you do want to store it short term then store in tightly-closed, original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

When kept under these conditions between temperatures of 5-45°C, the shelf life of the material will be 6 months from the date of manufacture.

Do you offer brick slips cut from engineering brick?

Yes we do! Our Moda Collection brick slips are a purpose engineered brick slips which will match in with most 65mm red engineering bricks.

Are brick slips suitable for open fires?

Using Brickslips within fireplace designs are a simple way to add a great feature to your room.

Whilst brick slips are great for use around log burners and decorative fires we would not recommend using the slips on open fires where the heat is in direct contact with the brick tiles. We always recommend a 6 inch distance from any heat source and the use of fire cement when pointing.
