As a company we are always looking to achieve greatness. Greatness is what we are known for, and greatness has helped our company build into the most trusted and reputable brick slip manufacturer in the UK.
We take our corporate, social and environmental responsibility seriously.
Our Green Team
The green team is a group of BrickSlips employees who meet regularly to discuss our green agenda. The team devise and implement greener ways of working to champion energy saving ideas.
This quality commitment is helping the company work towards our targets for the future.
All brick slip manufacturing spends energy through production, and creates waste products which then have to be recycled.
We aim to limit this energy and make sure that our company is green in the process.
Improving products and being greener
One product which we are especially proud of is our original London Weathered Yellow brick slip, a weathered take on a quintessential London styled brick, we have supplied this product to worldwide brands such as Chanel, Cafe Nero, Universal Studios, BBC and ITV Studios.
We don’t just boast this we can prove it!
As successful as this product has been, times change, customer requirements change and ultimately design tastes change.
Coupled with a chance to improve the wastage levels and breakages, we decided to listen to our customers and make a couple of subtle changes.
Changes that have improved and catapulted the product to a new level of greatness.
Why change our original London Weathered Yellow brick slips?
The evolution of a product is exciting and we believe that these improvements are necessary in order to be in keeping with our exceptional high standards of manufacture, and meet our own targets for a waste less production line.
What has improved!
- Colour Subtleties Rather than the bright yellow clays as used before, which can sometimes look artificial. We have opted to tone down the hue of this product making a more natural and real looking London Weathered Yellow brick slip.
- Clay Improvements Our original London Weathered Yellow could often be brittle which would lead to more breakages when cutting and in transit, this in turn meant more waste. By carefully changing the clay used, the product is now more stable through our cutting process and more durable for manufacture, shipping and installation.
The future is great for our London Weathered Yellow
Our new recipe has been met with thunderous applause and contactors and clients are already seeing the benefits from this improved and superior product.
We hope our customers are proud of our achievements and improvements to this much loved product, because we are!
