With 17 series of the show already in the can, and comprising of more than 160 episodes, channel 4’s Grand Designs and its presenter Kevin McCloud have certainly earned a great reputation for championing the world of design and self build.
Renovations, new builds and restorations, the show has provided coverage and results of some of the most inspiring and unique home builds the UK has ever seen.
Launched in London in 2004 and in Birmingham in 2005, Grand Designs Live has won multiple industry awards and has been hailed the UK’s most successful exhibition.
Grand Designs Live provides a real life spin off to the show which brings industry and clients together all under one roof.
Running for over a decade this year’s show offered inspiration and advice to property enthusiasts through exhibitions, talks and celebrity guests sharing their knowledge and expertise.
In the world of exhibitions, Grand Designs Live really has catapulted itself stratospherically, becoming the fore front runner in the world of design exhibits.
This year Grand Designs Live featured more than 400 exhibitors, 1,500 free advice sessions, 60 free kitchen advice sessions and 40 speakers including the Grand Designs star presenter Kevin McCloud.
The brickslips team had the pleasure of exhibiting within the Grand Build section of the Grand Designs Show. Our stand was simple in design and enabled us to showcase our great range of brick slip products with ease.
The great thing about exhibiting at Grand Designs Live is that we were able to directly engage with the end user and develop a vision of any new up and coming trends.
Our team had a fantastic 5 Days engaging and discussing our products. We received some truly moving comments across the 5 day event, our range was diverse and attractive and played a huge role in bringing the world of brick slips to the front of the pack when looking at wall coverings.
Whether it was London Weathered Yellow or Olde Bayswater, the enquiries were plentiful and so were the sales.
Being apart of such a prestigious and highly acclaimed exhibition has only cemented our reputation as the UK’s leading brick slip supplier.
Our main objective for the show was to offer the Grand Design visitors a chance to discover, explore and be enlightened with our products and hopefully project our brand as being the only place for real brick slip cladding.
To summarise, the quality of this years Grand Designs Show and all the exhibitors was immensely high, particularly encouraging was the level of professionalism and organisation, great care had been taken from every aspect of the show.
The success was reflected in a very well thought out selection of displays, showpieces and talks.
