Brick slip installation
Firstly, add our Installation Guide to your basket free of charge! This easy to read PDF booklet is emailed to you in pdf format, with simple, step by step instructions.
Accessories kit
Now, you can go through your accessories requirements individually. (Let’s face it, you may have a few tools lurking in the garage which can be used for your brick slips project). However, we’d always recommend the basics – like our 8 piece installation kit, which comprises of:-
- Mortar Pointing Gun
- Adhesive Spreader
- Pointing Trowel
- Brick Jointing tool
- Wire Brush
- Mixing Bucket
- 5Ltr PVA
- 200 Brick slip spacers.

Fixing and mortar
Next we recommend that you order the mortar that best matches your slips and decor. Our range can be found at https://brickslips.co.uk/51-brick-slip-mortar and each bag of mortar covers approximately 4m2. To apply the brick slips to the substrate you will require our Rapid Set Adhesive.
Accessories: from pointing trowel to brick sealer.
Now for the final touch. We like to offer a brick sealer for our products. This can be applied by roller or by brush however you recommend that you allow at least 2-3 weeks for the bricks and mortar to fully dry out before applying brick sealer. Sealant is available in either a gloss or matt finish, and each container covers an area of 5m2 (with 2 coats).
