Understandably, it’s a question we are asked a lot. Let’s look at some handy to know technical information to help with your calculations!
In order to work out square metres (M2 for short), firstly measure the length and width of the space you are working with using metres and centimetres.
Next you need to multiply the length and width to reach the area in square metres.
Calculation for m2
For example:
Width x Length: 3 x 3 = 9 M2
This is the total area.
Calculating how many brick slips you require per m2
Brick slip tiles are sold per box. We have a multitude of different styles, textures and colours to choose from. Regardless of the range, we sell the slips in the same box size.
Each box contains 30 slips covering half a square metre (0.5m2)
So for the above calculation, you would require 18 boxes. However, we always recommend that you add 10% for breakages and cuts
Therefore 20 boxes would cover this area.
