This month’s top customer questions are featured below, Enjoy.
1. Are Reclaimed brick slips good for internal feature walls?
All of our reclaimed brick slips are expertly sourced and of superior quality, if they do not survive the harsh process of cutting then they don’t make the box.
As with any reclaimed product there are differences and anomalies. These qualities are what make this particular brick type such a desired product.
All of our brick slips are suitable for either internal or external wall cladding.
2. Are they just tiles?
All of our products are expertly cut from real handmade bricks and reclaimed bricks.
Our buying department always ensures that every brick we source is of exceptional quality and suitable for cutting.
With our state of the art manufacturing facility we are able to ensure a great amount of care and attention is made when cutting these bricks.
We will never us concrete or resin extrusions, only real slips are cut from real brick.
3. What do I need to install brick slips, and can I order the accessories from you?
You will need the following tools available to ensure an easy installation.
All the above essentials are offered on the website.
There are occasions where our customers require different or more specialized tools.
If you require something which is not listed under the accessories page then please give us a call as it may be something we can assist you with.
4. Do you supply engineering effect brick slips?
Our Moda Range are a purpose engineered product which will match in with the majority of red, blue and brindle engineering bricks.
We advise you order a sample prior to ordering just to be sure on colour as clay can vary between manufacturers.

Hi Andy, can brickslips be bonded to EPC or celotex which is being use as external insulation, would a bonded mesh be needed as the main wall area will be wood cladding.
Kind regards
Andy Edwards
I have some questions please.
1. Can they be installed over plasterboard and if so does it have to be external wall or can they be installed on an internal plaster board wall.
2. How can they be cut to fit edge of wall.
3. Should I want to at a later stage paint them – I assume that this is possible
Hi
All of our brick slips can be installed internally and externally, to install onto a plasterboard wall all you need to do is prime the wall first with a PVA Bond and the apply the brick slips using a rapid set tile adhesive. To cut the brick slips you can do this easily with a standard tile cutter of even a small grinder.
All of our slips are clay based so once installed if you choose to paint them then this is perfectly fine.
Cheers
Andy
