Our Olde Bayswater brick slips have helped transformed this classic British Pub.
This case study finds us dipping our toes into the all important British pub. Our typically British looking and equally British Olde Bayswater brick slip has found its way into this splendid project.
With over 50m2 of brick slips required to complete this installation its fair to say that the use of brick wall cladding was high on the product agenda during initial design stages.
The brief evidently utilized the use brick slips and amplified it to its loudest level. Brick cladding behind the bar area and brick slip feature walls were present within the design. A colossal project that showcases the use of our brick slips to their finest.
Design
The interior is a mix between the modern 21st century bar and eatery design styles and an old world of relaxed public and social interaction. The whole space gives a feeling of coziness as well as modernity.
The establishment boasts a large space with lots of seating, padded stools around the large bar, velvet upholstery and padded seating along the side wall area.
A key feature within this room and one that automatically commands your attention is the grand looking bar area. A unique bar design which is both colourful and traditional. This feature is totally unique and is an absolute display of ingenuity and at the rear helps to exhibit the diverse ways in which our brick slip cladding can be used.
The whole room is broken up by brick open spaces, surfaces that can be used for posters, chalk boards and optics. The use of brick slip feature walls near the seating areas has proven a great choice.
Product
Olde Bayswater brick slips are a firm favourite here at brickslips.co.uk regularly featured they bring an unrivalled sense of authenticity.
The brick slips have been installed with clinical accuracy and the whole exposed brick look has brought an earthy realism to the whole project.
The brick slip cladding was installed using our porcequick rapid set adhesive and set with a 10mm tile spacers.
The use of traditional pointing mortar on this project was a great choice, drawing the eye to the product rather than the joint. Overall the use of our products on this installation showcase just how realistic and special our brick slip products are.
Result
This bar project is a fine and shining example of just how versatile Olde Bayswater brick slips can be.
If you were ever thinking of questioning whether this product makes the cut then here it is to see and behold.
