A tasty new TGI Fridays for Cyprus
Cyprus loves TGI Friday’s! Our second project in Cyprus to showcase the amazing Olde bayswater blend brick slips. Steaks, ribbs and boneless chicken wings are a plenty now on this amazing holiday island. TGI Fridays latest expansion is a wonderful showcase of modern eatery design.
This classic and trendy New York styled diner is constantly expanding into new areas and regions. This New York themed restaurant is the latest branch to open internationally.
As with all TGI Fridays, it is highly important that the brand keeps its look and theme throughout. Although every branch differs, there are always subtle consistencies that run throughout. One of these is the use of our brick slips.
Design
Large open plan retail units can often be some of the most challenging spaces to design around.
Strict floor plans and set locations for utilities can often cause design chaos.
Thankfully this new build has some amazing open space. Highly contrasted tones are significant to the design of TGI Fridays restaurants, psychologically they help to create mood and ambiance.
The dark painted open ceiling space helps to lower the height of the room and bring the eyes down to head level.
Light timber flooring works in conjunction with the dark ceilings and again creates a warm and comforting feel.
It isn’t just colour based psychology that the designers have used with this installation. Textures make a huge impact on the character and warming feel of an establishment.
Glass curtain walling, soft leather chairs, rumbled and warn brick slip walls and creative lighting all ignite the senses and create a modern and inviting decor.

The raw aesthetic or real clay brick demands attention and to see this in Cyprus is extra special for anyone Holidaying as it creates a home from home feel.
TGI Fridays has consistently used exposed brick themes to accentuate the NYC theme, and for good reason.
Real clay Brick slips offer a splendid integration between what was, what is and what’s going to be.
Our Olde Bayswater blend brick slips were chosen because of there unique exposed and olde look. This installation has been created with great care and attention.
The mortar joints have been pointed perfectly and the whole installation of the brick slips is undeniably exquisite.
The use of brick slip corners and standard slips around the walls has given the installation the right amount of balance and has become a wonderful canvass for the fixtures which take pride of place on it.
Result
I am sure you will agree this TGI Fridays has been wonderfully designed to highlight the brands vibrancy and relaxed nature.
Taking the New York theme across to such a beautiful holiday destination is a great touch.
Our Olde Bayswater Blend brick slips have helped to accentuate an amazing modern design and have brought a huge amount of warmth and authenticity to TGI Fridays in Cyprus.
