This new resteraunt features the very best Fridays has to offer.
As well as the signature flame-grilled ribs, burgers and grills, the new restaurant also features our Urban Brick slips.
Design
As with all the UK’s TGI Fridays themes, the designers have created a fresh and modern interior, urban in theme which is littered with iconic Americana memorabilia. One of the most striking things about this particular installation is the use of colour and texture.
As with most TGI Designs, unique architectural features play a great part in emphasizing the diners sense of excitement. This design features a complete New York Taxi out side the front door, a great pull for first time diners.
Distressed wood flooring, natural urban brick slips, quirky mirrored ceiling tiles and custom details throughout all contribute to create a fun and warm eating environment.
The designs use of such a diverse palette of material and finishes provides a triumph, giving an influx of texture, color and contrast to his established restaurant chain.
A great addition to the space a giant commanding American traffic light which adds fun and colour into the main restaurant area. The wonderment and creative use of colours works in tandem with the main restaurant surfaces.
This design makes use of our urban weathered red brick slips to enormous fanfare.
Product
The rawness of brick commands attention and sometimes begs special attention, TGI Fridays used exposed brick themes to accentuate the NYC theme.
Brick work offers a seamless integration between what was, what is and what’s going to be.
Our Urban Weathered Red brick slips were chosen because of there unique commercial look. This product has been installed with great detail and has been expertly pointed by the team of installers.
Using brick work in restaurants is an undeniably specific aesthetic, this been said it is a trend which shows no sign of stopping.
The use of brick slip corners and standard slips around the walls has given the installation the right amount of balance and has become a wonderful canvass for the fixtures which take pride of place on it.
Result
The design objective for this stunning installation was to create an exciting, unique restaurant and social destination that would engage all aspects of the urban customer’s senses, emotions and lifestyle.
TGI Fridays Doncaster has been individually designed to highlight the brands vibrancy and relaxed nature. Our Urban brick slips have helped to bind the themes within the restaurant and have brought a huge amount of warmth and authenticity.
