It is not every day that we get case studies like this one, so as you would expect we are very excited in introducing Sunlife`s Bristol office suite. This great office transformation has created a dynamic and impressive business office suite.
Situated in the heart of Bristol, the office suite is located in an old soap and vinegar warehouse which has been completely transformed.
An amazing result which showcased the use of handmade brick slips amazingly well.
Design
Unlike other office spaces in Bristol the design of this suite combines practicality, textures and visual appeal. Designing spaces like this always enhance a working culture and this suite provides plentiful working areas.
Quality handmade brick slip cladding features heavily on the external walls. The brick slips reinforce the heritage of the original warehouse building.
As the building was previously being used as a warehouse, the designers did a fantastic job of turning the large open space into a commercial offices fit for their clients business model.
Manhattan glass to help create a sophisticated loft style, enhance visibility and show off the amazing suite.
To further modernise the available spaces, paneling was fitted to the glass, allowing staff to easily book the meeting spaces.
The brick work can be seen from every aspect of this great space, and does a great job of canvassing the room.
To ensure the design paid homage to the building’s heritage, the designers also integrated retro soap advertisements, a shipping telegraph, ship wheel and even a tree.
Products
To achieve this look the Olde Bayswater has always been a great brick slip for using within an office suite . Its colours and textures bring out the materials in the surrounding design.
Texture of brick is key here, and this office suite makes full use of the textures it has. The brick slips and furniture bring a traditional building feel whilst the colours, decor and glasswork make this office a modern contemporary masterpiece.
Result
A quality case study of a UK project which uses brick cladding to great effect. Achieving this look with brick slips is simple and extremely effective.
This space is inspired and really shouts out in triumph to the designers and architects. The design is flawless and the use of materials has made this project stand out greatly from similar projects.
As the world advances, more and more workspaces are set to become design hubs, this project seems to be ahead of the race for social workplace designs.
