A touch of Camden in Dorset
This glorious home revamp has taken a wonderful twist with the addition of Camden brick slips.
Balancing today’s modern designs and feel whilst incorporating traditional accents is something that requires a delicate balance. This case study is a showcase to how effective brick slip cladding can be.
Design
In this design our customer chose to make maximum use of the space letting Light textures and tones transform the area.
The Camden brick slips were used as a subtle and effective backdrop to the main feature wall within the living room. With subtle tones and a calming nature this particular brick slip type is well suited to neutral rooms.
Product selection paint colour and fittings have all worked to create a calming yet masculine environment.
Product
Camden brick slips are perfect as they are made from a light buff clay base. With a light variance in colour and texture these bricks lips create a very soothing and modern canvas across the whole lounge space.
The surface texture on this brick slip is not too creased and is not tumbled this makes the brick slip very pleasing to the modern design trends, fitting in perfectly within this room.
Both rapid set tile adhesive and natural white gun injected mortar were used throughout on this DIY installation.

This case study is a great example of The Camden brick slips being used within a residential property.
The design and care that was taken in using our products, both allowing them to be unassuming and also giving them a certain spotlight is a credit to the entire project.
