Design magnificance using brick slips
This London based project was undertaken by online design influencer Suszi Saunders. Suszi’s Vegan interior design and lifestyle blog on Instagram attracts a massive 50k followers and has showcased some amazing interiors and ideas.
Suszi’s kitchen project used our most beloved Olde Bayswater brick slips and made a great impact on the end result.
Design
This wonderfully modern and luxurious case study focuses on the use of our Olde Bayswater Blend brick slips inside the property and in a design that oozes quality and finesse.
Dark hues and units, natural surfacing and our Olde Bayswater Brick slips have set a superb quality canvass for the main design of this project.
In the kitchen the units, breakfast bar and eclectic lighting offset with elegance against the natural brickwork.
Offering visual luxury with the cabinetry. These dark colours offer an elegance and a subtle dramatic essence to the room.
Product
Olde Bayswater Blend is a firm favourite brick wall cladding which is solely manufactured by us here at brickslips.co.uk. As a premium real brick wall covering this product is used by some of the worlds leading brands, outlets and establishments.
Like reclaimed and handmade bricks these slips are full of character and can vary substantially in both colour and texture.
On projects such as this it is always advisable that gun injected mortar is used for speed and appearance.
Result
This case study is one of the most inspirational examples of how well brick slips can be used throughout interior design.
Using Olde Bayswater brick slips within a residential property adds history and a realistic earthy feel.
As we see here, the traditional aspect of brickwork has no bearing on the modern look of the design. Brick work can look amazing internally when treated with the respect and grace that Suswzi has done through this project.
