Forge brick slips were used throughout the external and internal facets of this property. The engineered look of the forge brick slips brings a strong commercial presence to this contemporary residential dwelling.
Design
The designers of this build chose to use the Durisol ICF system as a way of building. The Durisol ICF system uses a mix of recycled wood and concrete (woodcrete) for the block construction. This results in a sturdy block which, unlike polystyrene ICFs, can be stacked several levels high without propping.
Building with Durisol provides excellent flexibility in terms of the finishes that can be applied to it, both internally and externally. Forge brick slips were chosen throughout giving the whole design a modern and unified look.
Product
The Forge brick slips are manufactured to BS EN 771-1: 2011 , this high performance brick wall cladding certainly met the requirements for use on this ICF System.
The Forge brick slip is our typical blue engineering brick. Commercial in all aspects this product has all the qualifications as a high performance brick cladding product.
Steel blue in appearance with silver hues this real clay brick slip is a stunning addition to our already luxurious range.
The Forge brick slips come in brick slip and corner slip format as standard.
The uniform modern colourings of The Forge allow this modern design to speak for itself.
