This fun modern office suite has been joyously appointed.
A case study that is a homage to the trendy open office layouts of the mid to late 1980’s. The designers of Duo`s new London office have brought colour, vibrancy and fun into this millennium.
Design
The use of our Olde Bayswater brick slips within the designs texture is a triumph in this case study. An abundance of colour and open lighted space brings a perfect canvas for the design brief.
Yet this simple and effective design does just that. The single floor design showcases an open floor plan with breakout and lounge spaces throughout.
The most unique feature of the space is the use of brick slip cladding.
Each room has an ambience and calming quality, texture and linear blocks of bold colour bring balance.
The brick slips are iconically used as a beacon of earthy texture.
This partitioning of the executive suites and meeting rooms gives privacy and openness. This allows the contrasted textures of the brick slips and timber framed office furniture to blend seamlessly.
The space within Duo was planned for multiple support spaces, and has been done with a very crisp and clean execution.
IT rooms, lounge space, kitchenette and breakout areas give this office a very professional and new atmosphere.
A branded logo set against a brilliantly finished feature wall made from our Olde Bayswater brick sets the tone and sparks a great introduction to this global company.
Product
The designers chose to use our Olde Bayswater brick slip within this Design.
Their choice provides a rich and tasteful weathered appearance that is true to the historic appearance of an old English red brick. Set against this wonderfully designed office you can see how the integration of old and new works to its best.
As versatile as it looks this choice of brick slip provides a professional consistency and character to the installation.
Result
In its finished state and illuminated with the light that this office suit gifts, our brick slips show how they continue to push creative boundaries.
This case study has radically highlighted the need and desire for bold colours within todays office suites. The designers have given us a modern professional office with a warm traditional feel.
