Brick slips dominate the office of this Domain Giant
Offices are not merely a room for a business to function, they represent the company at the highest level. Whether you are dressing for an interview or attending a glamorous restaurant first impressions are always the key.
The modern office suite is exactly the same, client and customer meetings alongside top level business takes place predominantly in the office. The impression the surroundings create and the design aesthetic can mean the difference between winning and losing.
Centralnic offer world class web solutions to the domain and web services industry and their latest office fit out shows that they mean business.
Design
This 3,600 sq ft office as everything a modern cutting edge technological company needs. Designed with private offices, breakout areas, meeting rooms and designated phone booths.
The whole space is enhanced to the max for high level business.
To encourage new ways of working, the designers added benchs in the centre of the office and new meeting booths in the breakout. There are single booths and shared booths which provide an alternative to the large boardroom for either quick ad hoc catch ups or private working.
In a modern working office keeping employees in can sometimes be a difficult task. This is why office kitchens are offten the most visually rewarding spaces within a work space.
The designers chose to use Olde Bayswater brick slips for the large kitchen feature wall. The rumbled and earthy texture of the brick work brings a comfort and homely feel to the work spaces around. Lightly coloured walls and exquisite tiling make the space a great area for Centralnics employees.
Product
Olde Bayswater blend brick slips were used for the main feature wall in the kitchen. Achieving this look the Olde Bayswater blend is the perfect brick slip of choice.
Rumbled worn and aged, the Olde Bayswater is a red clay brick type that makes for a perfect exposed brick wall look.
The brick slips are installed using a rapid setting tile adhesive and are pointed using a gun injected pointing mortar.
Our Olde Bayswater Blend brick slips offer ample character and a mix of subtle tones that work brilliantly across a feature wall.
Result
By injecting colour and texture into this project the designers have showcased how great brick slips can be in a modern working area.
This multi functional commercial office space is a real joy for everyone.
Employers, employees, visitors and clients can all benefit from this sleek and crisp design.
