Since opening their first gallery over 20 years ago, Castle Fine Art has worked hard to unite buyers and collectors with perfect works of art.
With the motto ‘Your world, our art’ Castle Fine Art deals in Artwork from some of the world most renowned names, Start McAlpine Miller, Billy Connolly, Ronnie Wood, Eve Arnold and Bob Dylan are to name just a few.
Great art galleries require a solid design and interior. We are so proud of the role in which our Knightsbridge Multi Brick Slips play in making the design work.
Design
The Edinburgh gallery is situated on Multrees Walk, the premier destination for luxury shopping in Scotland’s most visited city. Displaying a wide variety of hand-signed limited edition and original art, it’s a must-see for anyone hoping to add to their collection.
The designers of the layout went for a crisp and classic look which would allow the Artwork to be the star of the show.
Against the white walls, timber flooring and dark industrial ceiling our Knightsbridge Multi brick slips bring a raw and earthy feel to the space.
The inclusion of brick slips helps to take away any clinical feel that could be interpreted from standard white walls.
Product
Our star piece of Art for this gallery is the Knightsbridge Multi brick slips. This unique product is cut from real clay bricks.
A slightly dark red clay which comes from the rich clay base, the key features of the Knightsbridge Multi brick slips are the light and dark tones which intermittently break up the canvass of any wall.
The installers used a wide range of our products during this installation, rapid setting adhesive was used to fix the brick slips to the wall areas.
The brick slips were spaced out using our 10mm brick slip tile spacers. Once fully dry the whole brick slip area was pointed up using our light grey brick slip pointing mortar.
Result
The designers set out with one goal in mind: to make fantastic art accessible to all and in solid great surroundings.
We marvel at the work which Castle fine Art achieves and their commitment and focus on the Art they sell.
We love Knightsbridge Multi Brick slips and we love that they make a great addition to this iconic chain of Art retailers.
